ULA Law School Outreach Project

The ULA Law Student Outreach Project is an effort to promote union-side labor law as a viable career option for law students. In particular, we seek to emphasize that union-side labor practice is a form of public interest legal work. Toward this end, the project invites attorneys to attend career fairs to speak with law students about their experiences practicing labor law and to inform students of the many opportunities and resources available to them through the ULA, including the DOOR program, the AFL-CIO Law Fellowship, and the ULA Hiring Hall.

The dedication and involvement of ULA lawyers is critical to the success of this project. We hope that you will consider volunteering for the Law Student Outreach Project. If you have participated in outreach efforts in the past or are interested in doing so, please contact the AFL-CIO Law Fellow at ula@aflcio.org.
